Things are being dismantled left and right—but not all change is created equal.
It's more important now than ever to hone your gift of discernment and look at what's happening in our physical reality from a bird’s-eye lens. Pull back and see from every angle, with a clear, curious, and critical eye.
Ask yourself:
Is what's being dismantled done with intention and reverence… or torn down with disregard?
Is there a plan to rebuild into something more whole, more just, more aligned… or is it just destruction for the sake of control and power?
If something is being rebuilt, is it for the whole… or just for the few?
Is this change rooted in care—or in ideology?
Is it actually about healing and transformation… or just another cycle of power disguised as progress?
True transformation clears to create—not control.
It doesn’t just tear things down. It lays foundations.
It doesn’t abandon—it rebuilds with intention.
Yes, change needs to happen.
Yes, corruption runs rampant in these systems. I’ve seen it personally. I’ve spent more than a decade advocating against injustice in one system in particular—for myself and for others.
But we live in precarious times. And not everything that’s being dismantled is being cleared in service of something better.
Is it freedom? Or is it just a gilded cage?
To quote the musical Hadestown:
“Why do we turn away when our brother is bleeding?
Why do we build the wall and then call it freedom?
If we're free
Tell me why
I can't look in my brother's eye?If we're free, tell me when
We can stand with our fellow man.”
Discernment matters.
